OverviewTRC is seeking a Civil Engineer for our growing Engineering team in Philadelphia, PA. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual looking for experience and will provide support for permitting, design, and construction of a wide variety of technically challenging projects primarily for industrial, utility, and renewable energy clients. TRC's Philadelphia office is a vibrant, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment that provides access to a broad spectrum of professional experiences in an office that thrives on teamwork.

ResponsibilitiesWork side by side with our design and engineering team to perform calculations and develop designs.

Design stormwater management systems and erosion control facilities for civil engineering projects.

Prepare applications for local land development approvals and state environmental permits.

Perform engineering calculations to support designs including stormwater and general civil aspects.

Develop designs and plan sheets in Civil 3D.

Assist with the development of reports, plans and specifications for client and governmental approvals and construction.

Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related discipline.

Must have EIT certification and/or PE License.

3-5 years engineering experience providing civil-site design including stormwater managements systems, site grading, road alignment and similar tasks.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

Experience with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling/hydrology software.

Fluency with Microsoft Office software (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

Valid driver's license without major violations.

Have excellent communication and writing skills.

Possess solid technical and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsIn addition to the basic qualifications the qualifications below are highly desired but not required:

Experience with energy related projects, specifically renewable energy (wind, solar, etc.)

Experience independently analyzing and interpreting date regarding site uses and topography to develop stormwater management plans and best management practices.

Experience with design and development of erosion and sediment control plans.

Site grading/contouring design experience

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
