The ideal candidate will be data driven, have a customer mindset, and passionate about technology. You will have a strong engineering management background with a proven track record in delivering impactful solutions through technology. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the design of the platform going forward: decisions surrounding Ci/Cd, asynchronous communication, architecture decisions for front end development, and more in a cloud (Azure) environment.

What Work You Will Be Responsible For:Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional customer serviceOversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.Identify and address technical challenges and risks, providing effective solutions.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of experience working in software engineering, preferably in leadership rolesPreferred/ Desired Qualifications7+ years of experience working in software engineering, preferably in leadership rolesExperience with at least one or more object-oriented programming/support languages (Preferably C#/.NET)Experience with relational and document databases, such as SQL Server & Cosmos DbExperience with Azure, AWS or other cloud providersExperience with CI/CD pipeline automationExperience with message bus technologies (RabbitMq, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)Experience with Javascript and/or WASM (Web Assembly)Generative AI experience a plusStrong communication skills, strategic and analytical thinking, collaboration, and leadershipExpertise in defining, scaling, and delivering software products leveraging software development process through an in-depth understanding of customer needs
