Junior Project Manager, Global Analytics - 9304DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Chubb's Global Analytics group is seeking a junior project manager to support multiple projects. The position requires significant communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. The position is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and partnering with cross-functional teams, from initiation through solution delivery, ensuring stated deliverables are met within time, quality, and budget constraints.Responsibilities
Monitor project delivery, identify, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies; communicate progress to the stakeholders at different levels.
Contribute to and drive forward solutions to problems impeding progress.
Connect across projects and teams to align and manage program scope, cost, schedule, quality, dependencies, and risks to meet program goals. Examples:
Organize and facilitate product owner, scrum master, and key stakeholder group meetings, create agendas, and follow up on committed actions.
Provide hands-on agile project management on global initiatives.
Monitor program health data across projects, resources, and results.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline from an accredited University
Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in Agile software development environment. Professional certification a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a demanding environment and build relationships with team members and stakeholders in office locations across the country (without travel).
Ability to grasp and work with subject matter experts for data and analytics, distribution, underwriting, claims and technology.
Strong interpersonal, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain a view of the bigger picture (e.g., cross project dependencies/impacts) while dealing with day-to-day task level activities.
Proven ability to work both independently and as a member of a multinational team.
Ability to define and track success metrics.
Proficient with JIRA, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Visio and with documenting process flows.
