Job Title: Quality Control Environmental Monitoring Associate IJob DescriptionThe Quality Control Environmental Monitoring Associate I is responsible for performing sampling and testing in support of manufacturing and validation activities, under the direction of a supervisor or higher. This role involves working in a team environment with various laboratory staff. Collects environmental monitoring samples, including particulate, viable surface and air samples, and utilities samples (water, steam, compressed gas, etc.) Conducts microbiological assays and tests, including bio-burden, non-viable particulates, water vapor, and hydrocarbons. Reads plates and interprets results of microbiological assays. Accurately completes laboratory data forms, log books, batch records, and other required documentation according to and in compliance with cGMPs, CFRs, and SOPs. Effectively interacts with other staff members, supervisors, and internal customers. Maintains the priority of delivering data on schedule. Follows all general and laboratory SOPs. Reports results of ongoing tests to management. Communicates with colleagues regarding daily lab activities. Performs laboratory maintenance, monitoring, and cleaning (i.e., maintains lab supply inventories, keeps equipment maintained, and keeps records of maintenance and monitoring activities).Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Work EnvironmentA Day in The Life: Typically, you are either supporting an operation or doing routine sampling. Routine sampling can be performed usually at any point during the day while supporting an operation will have set start and end times when the technician would have to be available. The position is 50% on your feet sampling, 25% lab work, and 25% desk work. The overall schedule tends to change on a day-to-day basis, this is based off of manufacturing – some of their runs are based on donor material that they don’t always have, some of the runs change based on cell counts, and some of the runs get moved around due to materials.About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
