Senior Business Development Representative will originate and implement strategies to expand our national footprint in the Cell & Gene Therapy industry while diversifying sales portfolio and improving revenue targets through customer engagement in the Biotherapies, Pharma and Hospital market. Primary activities involve expanding Sales and Business pipeline while augmenting industry knowledge to influence new product and services. Looking for a team player who is enthusiastic about impacting patient care along with an experienced Business Development team committed to supplying customizable services to support clinical trials.WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD:Key Responsibilities:

Ensure strong plans are in place to achieve sales targets: volume and revenue budget.

Identify and pursue relevant business and market growth and/or fundraising opportunities and advise business units on growth strategies.

Analyze data, conduct research, identify trends, conduct present business plan analyses and feasibility studies specifically to identify advantageous strategic business directions.

Prepare reports and recommendations for management review.

Identify potential new customers, perform initial outreach efforts, and persuade contributions partnerships. Assist in the development of business planning and proposals, contract development, and negotiations.

Identify areas of operational improvement and assist in implementation of relevant action plans.

Cultivate relationships and partnerships with external constituents and integral growth partners, to further the Red Cross' mission to meet shifting and growing needs.

May develop and disseminate communication and marketing materials regarding available Red Cross services to customers to support business initiatives.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic proficiency in use of Personal Computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when app icable. Ability to work on a team.

Travel: Travel may be required up to 25%.The salary range for this position is $93,000.00 - $95,000.00 /annually.This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE:
