Lead Medical Assistant

We are a specialty podiatry practice seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a key leadership role in a small practice setting, ideal for someone who thrives on both hands-on patient care and driving treatment acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the doctor’s primary clinical support during all treatments and procedures

Lead patient education, confidently presenting treatment plans, orthotics, and product recommendations

Manage patient flow, ensuring efficiency and an excellent patient experience from check-in to checkout

Oversee sterilization, inventory, and clinical readiness of treatment rooms

Take ownership of practice operations, helping coordinate schedules, documentation, and follow-up care

Mentor and guide future staff as the practice grows

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant (lead or senior role preferred)

Strong communication and sales-minded skills—comfortable guiding patients through treatment acceptance

Ability to work independently in a boutique, small-practice environment

Professional demeanor, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical procedures (podiatry or surgical/dermatology experience a plus)
