Job Description: Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician will conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance services throughout the manufacturing facility.

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as well as scheduled maintenance.

Perform mechanic skills

Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, using precision measuring and testing instruments.

Remove defective/damaged parts using hoists, cranes, or hand power tools.

Adjust functional parts of machines and control instruments.

Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs as required.

Job Requirements: Maintenance Technician

HS Diploma GED or equivalent experience.

- Technical, post high school training/schooling

- Proficient in reading and understanding mechanical drawings and schematics

- 7+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

- PLC experience, VFD experience

- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal. Basic Mathematical aptitude.

- Working knowledge of key safety disciplines, such as LOTO and machine guarding.

- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day

- Saturday work may be required.

- Working knowledge of key safety disciplines, such as LOTO, PPE, and machine guarding.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.

- Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and turn regularly.

- Ability to regularly use ladders and stairs.

- Proper Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) observance is always required.IND-HPA
