Job description: Bookkeeper
We are looking for a dynamic, positive, personable, and self-sufficient professional to be our
next bookkeeper and office manager. If you’re a customer service-minded administrative professional with a can-do attitude and the skills and experience to perform a wide variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and office management tasks,we’re looking for you!
Your varied responsibilities will include general bookkeeping — invoicing, accounts payable, accounts
receivable, bank reconciliation, generating monthly reports, processing payroll — and customer
service. The ideal candidate will also provide general administrative support as needed.

Responsibilities:
● Bookkeeping
● Accounting and clerical support
● Accounts receivable
● Accounts payables
● Client invoicing
● Payment processing
● Prepare and maintain accurate accounting documents and records
● Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, wire transfers, and statements
● Research, track, and restore accounting processes or documentation problems and
discrepancies
● Bank reconciliation
● Account reconciliation
● Generating inventory reports
● Prepare and solicit quotes for goods and services
● Filing Federal and state reports and certifications as required
● Generating and distributing monthly reports or summaries on activity areas as needed
● Communicate clearly with a diverse group of national customers and
suppliers
● Maintaining the company policies & procedures
● A willingness to constantly update job knowledge and an awareness of industry best
practices
● Administrative support -(answering phones, providing assistance to the team as needed,
database management, coordinating materials purchasing requirements, office supplies,
production supplies, coordinating inbound/outbound shipping, and handling
FedEx/UPS/USPS shipping requests, and other duties as necessary etc.)
Requirements
● Minimum 2-4 years proven accounting and bookkeeping experience.
● Competency in MS Office, databases, AIA Billing and accounting software.
● Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
● Highly organized, dependable, accurate, responsible, and can work independently
● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
● Personable, pleasant communicator, and an ability to quickly identify client needs
● Aptitude for numbers, analytical.
● Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks.
● Data entry and word processing skills.
● Well-organized.
● Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing circumstances, personable, mature
● High school degree
● Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
