Description We are partnering with a commercial real estate firm based in Charleston, SC in need of a Property Accountant. This client manages 60 commercial properties across the Low Country and is continuing to see growth. This role will require you to process various accounts, assist with end-of-month procedures, and prepare various reports. The successful candidate will have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Responsibilities: Manage the processing of accounts payable and receivables. Assist in the review and execution of end-of-month processes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for accountants and landlords. Conduct reconciliation of specific accounts and statement balances on a regular basis. Set up new properties and tenants as required. Oversee vendor payments ensuring timely and accurate processing. Assist in the creation of Annual Budgets and CAM Reconciliations. Conduct billbacks to tenants and properties for expenses. Prepare both recurring and non-recurring general journal entries monthly.
