Based in Columbia, SC, you'll handle escalated claims and inquiries related to Voluntary Benefits, providing the highest level of customer service and support. As the final point of contact for customers, your ability to de-escalate situations and resolve issues effectively will be crucial.Key Responsibilities:

Respond to escalated claim inquiries and customer concerns through phone, email, and text chat in a fast-paced environment.

Provide accurate information and excellent service, taking ownership of customer issues and seeing them through to resolution.

Utilize problem-solving skills to make appropriate decisions and maintain a pleasant experience for callers.

Efficiently navigate multiple systems to research and resolve inquiries.

Adhere to company policies, regulatory standards, and business processes.

Flexibility to work shifts, including late hours up to 6:00 pm CST, and potential overtime as needed.

Top Skills - Must Haves:

Bilingual in English and Spanish: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Customer Service Experience: At least 1-2 years in a high-volume contact center.

De-escalation Skills: Ability to handle escalated situations with confidence and empathy.

Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves:

Experience in Insurance or Claims: Familiarity with the insurance industry is beneficial.

Educational Background : College degree or relevant coursework is a plus.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

College degree or pursuing a degree is an advantage.
