Drive the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting, monitoring financial performance against established budgets and forecasts. Guarantee compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, supervising all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Manage cash flow efficiently to ensure financial stability, develop cash flow projections, and manage working capital. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, coordinating internal and external audits, and implementing audit recommendations. Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, providing financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team. Manage and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, overseeing the recruitment, development, and performance management of finance and accounting personnel. Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with government contracts and financial regulations.
