Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.This position is 100% On-site.This position is Continental Weekend Day Shift Thursday / Friday - Sunday 6am-6pm.Sign-on bonus offer of $500JOB SUMMARYTo enhance the capabilities of the QA Department by providing administrative and technical support to the Quality Engineer.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with visual aids.Assist the Quality Engineer or Quality Technician/s in the engineering function.Prepare the raw data for analysis.Routine process and product audits.To follow up the new product introduction and experiment as requested from leadershipTo review the defect sample and check the purge process.Help to setup MES for new and existing products.To follow up the execution of DA, ECN and CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive Action).To review non-conformance material and products.Perform and assist production inspections to meet our customer\'s demand.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSPrior experience preferred but not required.Technical Associates degree preferred but not required.General knowledge of electronic component handling.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.Advanced PC skills.Ability to write simple correspondence. Verify all hardware components are assembled in accordance with customer specifications. Electronically document any errors or faults as needed.Starting pay: $20.67 USD hourlySHIFT / SCHEDULEQuality Inspectors are required to work 8-hour shifts, on the following schedule:2nd Shift: working Monday through Friday, from either 3:00PM to 11:30PM OR 3:30PM to 12:00AM.Quality Inspectors are currently working an average of 5-8 hours of overtime each week (after shift, Monday-Friday).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.Inspect in-process and/or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.Read and follow visual aides, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures, determine acceptance or rejection of product.Work under close supervision of Manufacturing supervisor or other designated supervisor.Follow standardized and routine written directions and visual aides for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.Visually inspect products using magnifying glass, lot sampling methods, first article checks, and /or AOI machines.Enter standardized information into computerized MES system using simple keystrokes to indicate pass or failure of board.Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma or equivalent required with at least 2 years\' experience in a relevant Jabil production position or equivalent external work experience. Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or a degree in a related field preferred.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Individuals primary workstation is located on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Quality Inspectors are required to wear appropriate PPE, including: hearing protection, composite toe shoes, and protective eyewear.
