OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for Electronics Technician. This position will be located in Charleston, SC.and will be an onsite position.ResponsibilitiesResearches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment. Designs, develops, and tests electronic systems, components, or circuits for use within equipment or machinery. May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments.
Works from broadly defined product and systems specifications to determine appropriate top-down controls architecture. Analyzes and communicates customer needs.
Contributes to the analysis and characterization of the systems including system error analysis, failure mode analysis, and cost analysis.
Ensures requirements are well developed, reviewed, documented to achieve compatibility and proper integration in finished products.
Contributes to the test and troubleshooting of systems as part of the design team.
Interfaces with technical personnel in the diagnosis and resolution of problems encountered
QualificationsBachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)Clearance required: SecretRequired Skills and Experience:
12+ years of experienceEight (8) years of experience, to include: installation of such equipment. Four (4) years of experience, to include: design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings. Eight (8) years of experience in " Specific Projects " discipline, of which 5 must have been performed within the last 7 years
