HR Generalist

Description We are in the process of recruiting an HR Generalist for our manufacturing operations in the Rubber Manufacturing industry, based in Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in a 100% office-based environment. The HR Generalist will be tasked with a variety of duties, ranging from employee relations to payroll management.Responsibilities: Manage employee relations and conduct investigations as needed to resolve conflicts and ensure a harmonious work environment. Oversee union-related activities and generate union reports, leveraging experience in manufacturing and union environments. Process payroll, with a specific focus on union payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Utilize HRIS Payroll System for efficient management of HR and payroll activities. Handle workers' compensation matters, ensuring that all requirements are met and records are well-maintained. Leverage expertise in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for efficient HR management. Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and Dayforce for various HR functions. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to HR and employment. Monitor and manage employee benefits functions, ensuring that all employees receive their entitled benefits. Employ excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees and address their inquiries and concerns. Requirements Demonstrated experience in ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Familiarity with Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATS) Proficiency in using Ceridian and Dayforce Strong understanding of benefit functions within an HR context Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of compliance regulations and standards in HR Experience in managing employee relations and conducting investigations Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provisions Experience in handling union payroll and union reports Previous experience in workers compensation claims management Proficiency in using HR Payroll Systems and HRIS Payroll Systems Experience in conducting employee relations investigations Knowledge of labor and employee relations in the rubber manufacturing industry.
