Description As a Systems Engineer, you will work alongside our external partners and internal IT Service Teams to deliver hosting and cloud services that meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, speed, and cost-effectiveness, meeting the expectations of our stakeholders.Responsibilities:
Develop and execute cloud strategies, particularly focusing on Azure and other cloud providers, aligning with the organization's objectives.
Manage tickets, service requests, and perform proactive maintenance for physical, virtual, and cloud server infrastructure.
Provide Level 2 & 3 support internally and collaborate with vendors for onsite support, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
Assist in developing disaster recovery plans to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Participate in projects requiring hosting/server/cloud resources, ensuring timely delivery within scope, schedule, and budget, including analysis, design, deployment, and operations.
Independently manage small and medium-sized projects as required.
Collaborate closely with other IT teams, external partners, and service providers to maintain reliable and stable hosting/server infrastructure.
Interface with architecture and solutions teams to implement designs per process, evaluating and recommending new solutions while staying informed about emerging technologies.
Ensure the delivery of new services locally and regionally through structured support, development, and change management processes following industry best practices.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and end-users, prioritizing customer satisfaction, compliance, and standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Proficient in configuring and overseeing servers within Azure and executing seamless migrations from on-premises servers to Azure or partner data centers.
Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Active Directory (AD) integration is advantageous.
Extensive expertise in IT operations, particularly in Virtualization technologies such as VMWare.
Knowledgeable about the Windows server family, including server and data recovery methods, as well as backup solutions.
Skilled in server management, monitoring, patching, middleware administration, and generating reports.
Demonstrated success in delivering IT services, projects, and support.
Proficiency in Standard IT processes and methodologies, including ITIL, PMI, and SDLC.
Proven track record of continuous learning, self-development, and thriving in highly collaborative environments, with strong organizational skills.
