Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Grants Coordinator to join our team based in Memphis, Tennessee. As a Grants Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the grant process, conducting thorough research, and maintaining accurate records of our grant data. This position operates within the non-profit industry, focusing on the coordination and administration of our foundation and government grants.Responsibilities: Carry out detailed research and collect data for each grant to ensure the integrity of our grant applications. Develop and maintain a proposal calendar to keep track of grant deadlines and submissions. Coordinate and monitor the progress of submitted proposals, ensuring timely follow-ups. Maintain comprehensive grant information in our database and other systems, ensuring our records are up-to-date and accurate. Conduct prospect research to identify, cultivate, and solicit new grants, contributing to our funding goals. Participate in grant team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with developments in the field and compliance requirements. Apply knowledge of fundraising methods and plans to reach income goals and support our key stakeholders. Display adherence to the organization’s mission in all grant-related tasks. Leverage outstanding computer skills to efficiently process and manage grant data. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth functioning of the administrative and office systems. Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or relevant field. Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). Experience with Billing and Invoice Processing are essential. Must have excellent Data Entry skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP is required. Knowledge of Federal Grant, Government Grants, and Foundation Grants is preferred. Experience in Grant Accounting, Grant Administration, and Grant Management is highly desirable. Grant Writing skills are beneficial for this role.
