Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for our company using Workday software. Responsibilities: Accurately entering and updating employee information, including hourly wages, salaries, overtime, leave, taxation details, and deductions. Regularly processing wages and salaries for all employees using Workday software. Maintaining detailed records of all payroll transactions and ensuring they are accessible when needed. Ensuring the company’s payroll processes are compliant with local, state, and federal laws. Serving as the point of contact for employees' queries related to their pay, deductions, leave balances, etc. Generating reports related to payroll for upper management, accounting, and human resources. Collaborating with the Human Resources and Accounting departments to ensure any changes in employee information are accurately reflected in payroll. Managing time and attendance, ensuring all employee work hours, overtime, sick days, and vacation time are accurately recorded and compensated. Utilizing accounting software systems and tools such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, About Time, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Auditing, Benefit Functions, Workday, Workday HRIS, Full Cycle Payroll, Multi-state Payroll, Payroll - Over 500 Employees.
