Receive and assign processes for all incoming parts with precise accuracy. Assist with customer service. Provide clerical support in the shipping of customer orders. Complete all tasks per applicable procedure. Key Responsibilities :

Must be proficient in all modules of PICS.

Check all incoming bills of lading to verify container count against packing slips. Check freight charges for any incoming collect freight and generate appropriate freight form.

Verify all information on the packing slips, such as net weight, container type, number of containers, part number, P.O. number, material type, etc. and then enter into PICS before generating shop order.

Prepare weight sticker for all incoming parts, and identify customer containers with “N” number sticker for temporary identification until PICS tote tag is generated.

Make sure all specifications are verified before being placed on shop order, either by referencing on-hand information or by communicating with the customer.

Document incoming non-conforming product from customer and follow through with Quality department until a shop order is created.

Generate a tote tag for every order.

Prepare an accurate shop order for each part received.

Communicate to Plant Manager and Process Administrator if customer process requirements change in a significant manner.

Communicate to Plant Manger and Process Administrator if customer print has a different ECL than shown in the PICS database.

Load and unload trucks, cars, and vans ensuring compliance with shipping specification.

Respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner regarding order status, incomplete orders, prints, specifications, availability of parts, truck schedule for delivery of parts, etc.

Prepare orders for shipment by UPS, common carrier, Federal Express, etc. ensuring that orders include complete packing slips, bills of lading, delivery tickets, freight forms, completed log book, and verify the weight and count before shipping.

Call COD customers with price prior to customers arriving to pick up.

Must review shop order for completeness before shipping material.

Designate and notify Paulo and outside carriers of ready shipments.

Access information from PICS to prepare delivery tickets or check on parts in-house.

Keep shipping and receiving area organized.

Provide customer service support when needed.

Create duplicate shop orders when one is lost or destroyed.

Assist shipping clerk in packaging and logging UPS shipments.

Assist front office support when needed, such as answering telephones.

QualificationsKnowledge:

Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Qualifications:

Must be able to pass a preemployment physical and drug screen, including THC.

Experience:

3+ months of experience of similar or related experience.

Must have basic understanding of computer systems and be familiar with the operations of basic programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and the Internet).

License(s)/Certification(s) Required:

Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
