Vertis Green Hills is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing world class customer service. The Maintenance Technician is directly responsible for ensuring that the propertys service requests are completed in a timely manner and all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to market-ready status. Week-end hours are a must.
Vertis Green Hills is an amenity-filled, Class A, luxury, high rise, rental property located in Nashville, TN. The unique asset is an 18 story property and includes apartment units with a mixed-use retail component.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors and replaces lights as necessary.
Repairs and/or replaces windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, smoke alarms, baseboards, mirrors, closet doors, ceiling fans, mini blinds, faucets, sink plugs, washers, holes in the walls, and hangs drapes.
Repair all appliances and reports problems to Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager.
Monitors and changes locks, and make keys as necessary.
Performs repairs to sinks and bathtubs, and minor repairs and replacement of bathroom tile.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years practical experience
Solid teamwork skills with flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements and deadlines
Ability to anticipate the maintenance needs of the property
Ability to lift/move 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
Must be able to climb stairs on a regular basis
Must be available to assist with after-hours emergency situations
Must have a current, valid drivers license and have own vehicle in good repair
Possible exposure to changing weather conditions and chemical fumes
Must be reliable and present a positive, professional image at all times
