Experienced Bartender / Mixologist – Fine Dining Steakhouse – Jackson’s Prime (Jonesborough, TN)

Jackson’s Prime, a premier fine dining steakhouse opening in historic downtown Jonesborough on Main Street in early summer 2025, is seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender / Mixologist to lead our bar program.

We are dedicated to delivering a refined steakhouse experience, featuring hand-cut prime steaks, fresh seafood, and an elite wine and spirits selection. Our bar will be an extension of that excellence, offering craft cocktails, premium spirits, and world-class wines in an elevated atmosphere.

Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned bartender with extensive knowledge of spirits, bourbon, fine liquors, and wines who can craft exceptional cocktails and provide an upscale guest experience. Candidates with FOH management experience or sommelier training will be strongly considered.

Responsibilities

Curate and craft high-end, balanced cocktails using premium spirits and fresh ingredients.

Maintain a deep knowledge of bourbon, whiskey, fine liquors, and wines to guide guests in their selections.

Deliver impeccable guest service, ensuring an upscale and personalized bar experience.

Manage bar inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain efficiency and profitability.

Collaborate with leadership on seasonal cocktail menus and exclusive offerings.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized bar.

Train and mentor bar staff to uphold fine dining standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender in a fine dining, craft cocktail, or high-end bar setting.

Extensive knowledge of spirits, bourbon, and mixology techniques.

Strong wine knowledge; sommelier certification a plus.

Ability to engage and educate guests on cocktails, spirits, and wine pairings.

Experience with inventory management and cost control.

FOH management experience is a plus.
