Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Addison, Texas, United States. The role involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts, processing customer transactions, and maintaining accurate records in the accounting software systems. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will also be responsible for resolving customer inquiries and ensuring compliance with payment plans.Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, prioritizing workload and focusing on key accounts effectively Contact customers through various channels like phone and email to discuss account and payment statuses Ensure compliance with payment plans and place accounts on hold when credit limit has been exceeded or payment is overdue Maintain and update customer records in the CRM and ERP systems, ensuring accuracy of account details Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner, providing necessary invoices and statements Document collection efforts in Accounting Software Systems and SAP in a standardized format Communicate account statuses and aging to management and customers, facilitating effective decision making Support cash application processes by providing proper coding for alignment Evaluate, resolve, and report customer disputes and discrepancies affecting payments including pricing, sales tax, and other purchase order discrepancies Participate in other projects and duties as assigned, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Experience with CRM Knowledge of Epic Software Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to perform Accounting Functions Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficient in Billing Functions Ability to manage Cash Activity Experience in Check Processing Proficiency in SAP Experience in B2B collections Knowledge of Collection Processes Experience in Collections Familiarity with Collections - Commercial Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
