Event Marketing Manager The Opportunity: Open Lending seeks an Event Marketing Manager with at least five years of B2B marketing experience in corporate trade shows and user conferences. You'll oversee National and Regional events and own parts of the annual user conference, ensuring they align with our marketing goals and boost revenue. This role reports to the Head of Events Marketing and is vital in shaping our brand and business growth. What You’ll Do:

Develop and implement event strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Plan, execute, and oversee all aspects of trade shows and user conferences, including budgeting, timelines, AV, general sessions, registration, room blocks, event operations, corporate tradeshow and conference shipping, and resource allocation.

Research, select, negotiate contracts with venues and vendors, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers for seamless execution.

Create event agendas, presentations, program content, and session schedules, tailoring them to the target audience's needs.

Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Collaborate with other team members to utilize and leverage various marketing channels to drive attendee registrations and engagement.

Oversee event logistics – pre, at and post event, troubleshoot issues, and focus on improving attendee experiences.

Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, partners, and key stakeholders.

Analyze event data to enhance event strategies and outcomes continually.

Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.

Maintain a strong focus on event security and safety.

Use insights to improve event strategies and outcomes continually.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Event Management, or a related field.

At least 5 years of corporate event planning experience, focusing on trade shows and user conferences.

Proficiency in various software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Cvent, HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, HeyMarket, Airtable, and Monday.com.

Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and adept at handling multiple tasks concurrently.

Creative in crafting engaging event experiences.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

Proactive and forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate needs.

Basic understanding of major social media channels.

Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled in establishing processes from scratch.

Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent projects.

Capable of prolonged periods of desk work and computer usage.

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when required.

Knowledge of the automotive lending industry is a plus.

Based in the Austin, TX office of Open Lending, with a hybrid work model - ability to work from the Open Lending Austin Office 2 to 3 days per week.

Flexibility for travel, weekend work, overtime, and accommodating different time zones.
