We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.As part of the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) team (ULS brand), you’ll join a community of service sales specialists who have strong customer relationships and solid knowledge of service delivery within our Molecular Division .How will you make an impact?The Territory Manager is responsible for selling service contracts for the Molecular business within the Analytical Instruments Group. In this critical sales position, you will focus on exceeding the sales quotas for our service portfolio by selling and negotiating contracts with end user customers, key decision makers and procurement. You will collaborate with cross divisional & channel distribution partners, product & application specialists, chromatography & mass spectrometry instrument teams, customer experience and business development teams to help drive sales.This field-based position covers the Central USTravel: up to 20% overnightWhat will you do?

Achieve and exceed monthly & yearly sales goals within assigned territory

Master the strategic messaging and sales approach for the broader target audience with superior knowledge of our service products

Act as a resource to others in determining the best course of action in compliance with quality processes and business rules and regulations

Submits accurate forecasts, weekly reports, monthly highlights, marketing intelligence, and maintains data integrity within SalesForce.com CRM

Maintain intensity and continually striving to increase contract penetration coverage of instrument install base

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science or equivalent education or experience

Minimum three (3) years of selling experience strongly preferred.

Experience successfully meeting or exceeding sales target in a complex business environment

Success in territory management plans with a focus on developing long-term relationships

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with the following industries: biotech, clinical, pharmaceutical, academic/medical research, environmental, food, forensics, and petrochemical

Proficiency with sales software like Salesforce.com

Experience managing independent selling or distribution channels strongly preferred

  • This position is key to Carmeuse revenue growth by connecting the organization to the market. The Sales Representative will primarily focus on identifying and developing new prospective customers within the market while also maintaining relationships with current and former clients. This role will focus on the sales of complex industrial chemical storage and feed systems to existing industrial facilities within an assigned territory in the western United States and Canada and will drive revenue growth for our Carmeuse Systems subsidiary. The position will also develop market intelligence for the organization and will require strategic thinking, the ability to network with clients and sell as a team utilizing the applications engineering department, and the ability to travel 75-100% of the time.
