In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems. Your projects will be a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch along with ownership of Process Designs end to end complimenting each Design.You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact, high visibility projects; you will grow.Key job responsibilities Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions. 50% travel requirement to visit sites and support projects.Basic Qualifications
5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
Experience working with and managing third party vendors
Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing

The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $126,400/year in our highest geographic market.
