A-Plus Air Conditioning & Home Solutions, a locally owned and family-run business serving Austin since 1977, is looking for a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Office Administrator to support our Home Repair & Remodel department.
Position Overview:
The Office Administrator plays a key role in keeping our Home Repair & Remodel department running smoothly. You will assist customers, support field crews, coordinate schedules, and make sure jobs move from start to finish with A+ service.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Answering and directing incoming calls with a professional, friendly attitude
Scheduling and coordinating appointments for handyman, remodel, and repair jobs
Communicating with customers, technicians, and subcontractors
Preparing and managing paperwork, invoices, and files
Confirming upcoming appointments and consultations
Performing follow-up calls for completed jobs and estimates
Assisting with dispatching when needed
Supporting other office departments as part of a collaborative team
In our small office, everyone wears multiple hats. We help each other to ensure our customers receive exceptional service every time.
Who We’re Looking For!
The ideal candidate is:
Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
Able to stay calm and effective in a busy, fast-paced office
Comfortable learning new systems and taking ownership of the role
Skilled in customer service and communication
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
Preferred but not required: Familiarity with home remodeling, construction, plumbing, electrical, or home repairs.
Schedule & Location:
Full-time, in person
Monday–Friday
Rotating Saturday morning shift once per month
Must reliably commute to Austin, TX 78757
Pay & Benefits:
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
