We are looking for a motivated and skilled Part-Time Assistant Property Manager to join our team. We are a small team managing three apartment buildings totaling 72 units in the Georgian Acres neighborhood, near 183 and I-35 in Austin. If you prove valuable in this role, there may be an opportunity to step into a Lead Property Manager position.
Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Experience: Prior property management or leasing agent experience required.
- Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle for travel between properties.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with technology and not necessary but a bonus if familiar with property management software and digital tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Customer Service: Experience providing high-quality service and addressing tenant needs.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle issues proactively and think on your feet.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in documentation and lease management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tenant and prospect-facing tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Answer tenant calls for work orders and accurately fill out work order forms.
- Take calls from prospective tenants and complete new prospect forms.
- Post Notice to Vacate documents and ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Meet with tenants to facilitate lease signings and communicate lease renewals.
- Coordinate property tours for prospective tenants and answer questions.
- Manage and streamline move-in procedures to create a positive experience.
