Job Description:
As a Plumbing BIM Drafter, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models of plumbing systems for commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient design and documentation. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our commitment to quality and precision in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain 3D BIM models of plumbing systems for commercial projects using Revit or similar software.
Create detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics based on project specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient design and documentation.
Review and update BIM models to reflect changes in project scope, design modifications, and field conditions.
Conduct clash detection and coordination with other trades to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.
Generate and manage detailed documentation, including schedules, material takeoffs, and as-built drawings.
Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and best practices.
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in BIM software and tools.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a BIM Drafter, preferably in the commercial plumbing industry or a related field.
Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software.
Strong understanding of plumbing systems, design principles, and construction documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting activities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
