Trane Technologies, the global leader in innovative climate solutions for a sustainable world, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist for Carrollton, TX. As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be supporting our outside sales team within the region. You will be responsible to strengthen communication, selling, negotiation, and technical skills to transition to outside sales, if desired. This position includes sales support from the time of inquiry to delivery, which requires equipment identification, quoting, order confirmation/purchase order receipt, pricing, order processing, expediting, and problem solving. As you become more experienced, you can support the outside sales force with lead generation, market intelligence, and contact with current customers. The most experienced inside sales specialists may be assigned to special projects, which require hands-on supervision of highly complex orders or those that require significant coordination with external entities.Base Compensation Range is $65,000 - $85,000. The role will offer an incentive plan.Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.This role has been designated as Hybrid – Flex for your day . While most work must be done on-site, there is flexibility to work remotely when workflow and priorities allow. The Company reserves the right to modify this designation should business needs require.Responsibilities:
Act as a key contact to customers to provide information on complete sales cycle from quote through delivery.
Ensure that all paperwork, purchase orders, reports etc. are maintained to respond to customer inquiries timely and ensure internal process requirements.
Pursue relationships with new contractors.
Sustain/grow relationships with existing customer base.
Develop relationships with different departments inhouse.
Introducing contractors to key departments
Following up daily on quotes that have gone out to unassigned accounts.
Maintaining New Product Knowledge
Keeping up with Daily Metrics
Log Quote
Log Orders
Gathering information for Falcon Returns Material Authorization (RMA) Claims/Warranties/Concessions
Accounts Receivable Disputes
Salesforce duties
Opportunity Creation
Account set ups – gather basic information.
Customer communication
Order Follow up
Utilize the Open order report.
Keeping up with Training modules (LMS - OTIS)
Mentor peers and share standard methodologies with those less experienced as needed.
Qualifications:
Customer service and inside sales experience preferred. Ability to understand the need, solve problems, and respond in an efficient manner.
Strong organizational, time management, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
A strong knowledge and comfort level with computers.
HVAC experience stongly
