Description Exciting opportunity with a well-established, family-owned oil & gas company in Uptown Dallas! In this role, you will be handling financial statement preparation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Prepare financial statements for various companies quarterly and annually
Prepare journal entries
Prepare accruals and other adjusting entries
Code daily deposits
Code accounts payable
Prepare quarterly income estimates
Prepare bank reconciliations and payroll reconciliation
Prepare tax and audit schedules Maintain depreciation schedules for fixed assets
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare monthly management reports
Reconcile customer accounts and maintain customer relationships
Work closely with field offices in maintaining financial information
Provide support for external audits
Work with internal tax department
Perform other essential duties as assigned
Requirements
3-5 Years of overall general accounting experience
Self-motivated
Ownership in work product
Knowledge of full cycle accounting
Experience with fixed assets
Experience with debt and security investment
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
High degree of attention to detail and multi-tasking
Strong time management and organizational skills
Works well in a fast-paced environment
