About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):12The Team:The Enterprise Solutions Operations division is seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills to join our Global Reconciliation Team.S&P’s WSO (Wall Street Office) provides real-time access to our client’s portfolio and reporting insights for active asset management and deal administration, trading activities, cash and position level transparency and accurate P&L reporting. Underpinned by our WSO Administrator and WSO Agent product suites, WSO supports complex aspects of alternatives asset management in a scalable solution that increases operational efficiency while reducing risk. Our solutions are available as a hosted software or a fully outsourced managed service.Responsibilities & Impact:The Manager will lead a dynamic team, responsible for all client facing operations related items, data research, and processing functions on the Reconciliation Team which primarily supports WSO users, and their cash management needs.In this position, you will gain exposure to an exciting financial market and interact daily with our clients of varying levels of seniority. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about finance, banking, syndicated loan market, and Software as a Services (SAAS) technology.

Understand and calculate the daily funding needs for specific clients

Move cash throughout the day for general funding purposes, payments, fee related receipts, as well as cash optimization

Perform Daily Bank Reconciliations for multiple clients across multiple accounts

Perform Daily Reconciliations of Cash, Positions and Trades between our internal system, client's records and our custodian accounts

Work with Business Development and IT group to assist in the development of an automated solution for Cash and Collateral Margin tracking

Ensure the best cash management practices are in place across the team

Analyse, recommend and implement productivity improvements

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $92,000 to $160,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. Exceptional skills in communication with clients with ability articulate ideas and complex information in a clear and concise manner

Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with senior members of client organizations, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction

Goal and action orientated, with ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Ability to manage projects and people independently

Customer service experience from any field is a plus!

Syndicated loan experience is a big plus!

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Must be able to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise

Ability to organize and prioritize complex issues and projects to completion

Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in working with internet-based applications

Ability to think laterally, provide proper issue analyses, and question current processes

Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong process improvement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)

7 - 10 years of work experience within the financial and/or syndicated loan industry

Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
