10+ years’ of hands-on experience as an Architect in Infrastructure/Cloud design/implementation/consulting. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering Experience and in depth knowledge with one of more cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/OpenStack, Google), IaaS and managed services Experience selling and crafting managed service solutions around end user services, L1/L2/L3 support Demonstrate knowledge of Cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multitenancy, virtualization, automation & orchestration, elastic scalability) Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs. Understands and can articulate the technical merits and value of Cloud computing Knowledge of one or more Wireline, Cable or Wireless Communications Service Provider markets. Knowledge in NFV/SDN & Orchestration area Experience with Docker, Microservices and container deployment and service orchestration Knowledge in telecom technologies, network architectures, technologies, services used in wireline, wireless, cable operators. Ability to compile and analyze various cost models related to cloud platforms, leveraging strong knowledge of subscription and licensing costs/terms Network Management, Resource Management, Service Management. Experience using Agile, Lean, and DevOps practices. Expertise in developing cloud-native applications that adhere to microservices principles. Experience with development using source code repositories – Github, GitLab, and/or Bitbucket. Experience with continuous integration and deployment technologies such as: Bamboo, Cruise Control, Continuum, Jenkins CI, and Artifactory.
