Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist based in Dallas, Texas, 75235, United States. This role involves maintaining accurate customer credit records, processing customer credit applications, and ensuring efficient collections operations. Responsibilities: Monitor assigned customer accounts for any unresolved invoices Engage in consistent follow-ups with clients regarding overdue accounts Liaise with clients to obtain remittance advice when necessary Ensure payments are accurately applied to the correct accounts Utilize researched and effective collection techniques for optimal results Respond to client account inquiries in a timely and professional manner Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by management Use various accounting software systems including Accurint, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel Implement billing functions, collection processes, and provide customer service Utilize NetSuite and other commercial collections tools as needed Requirements A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Collections Specialist or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge and understanding of billing functions and collection processes. Experience in credit management and commercial collections. Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar large ERP systems for various financial tasks. Strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with different stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to meet targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
