Description Management Resources is seeking a Non-Profit Controller for a contract to hire opportunity in downtown Dallas. This is 100% onsite. In this role, you will take on the strategic management of financial and administrative operations. This includes planning, forecasting, budgeting, and working in close collaboration with other high-level executives to develop and implement strategies across the organization. Responsibilities for the Non-Profit Controller Overseeing the coordination and management of all fiscal reporting activities, including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheets reports. Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions. Developing and implementing operational strategies to promote growth and meet financial objectives. Preparing and presenting financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings. Collaborating with executive leadership to develop financial strategies across all units. Engaging the board's audit and finance committees around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery. Designing and creating advanced plans for financial growth, leveraging existing financial data. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.Requirements Must possess expertise in Non-profit Accounting and 501C3 Proven experience in Managing Budgets is essential Proficiency in Month End Close procedures is required Proven Managerial Oversight skills are a must Experience in Monthly Financial Reporting and Monthly Financial Reports is necessary Must be proficient in using Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel Strong leadership and strategic planning skills are crucial Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is necessary; an MBA or related advanced degree is preferred Relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are advantageous A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position is required Must possess a strong ethical mindset and unquestionable integrity.
