Responsibilities: Experience in collaborating with business and IT stakeholders in creation of roadmaps (solution area, applications and technology), strategy, application health checks, initiating projects (conceptual and logical architecture and design), Experienced in Services Oriented Architecture (SOA), operational data stores and data warehouse systems, ETL tools and technologies, different database and server’s platforms Works with the Data Architecture Manager/ Information Architect/Leader, Software Development Leaders, and Business Analytics staff to develop value-based solutions and architecture components based on source to target mappings. Contributes to logical and physical data modeling with tools such as Erwin, Embarcadero, or Visio Understands the differences between master/reference data, transactional data, metadata, and analytics data Coordinate with the offshore teams to manage enhancements and support activities in a global delivery model Incident and problem management using service now. Working with BA’s and business users on data related incidents. Perform production support, maintenance and enhancements Customer interaction and requirement gathering Design Document walkthrough Production implementation support Offshore coordination and status reporting Ensure the compliance to agreed service Define and implement ETL development standards and procedures Define and implement ETL tool configuration Strong experience with Datastage Required Skills: Translate business requirements and high-level design documents into implementation low-level design document IBM Infosphere Information Server DataStage 9.x, 11.x Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux Good knowledge in Unix shells scripting Source to Target Mappings and transformations with ETL Data stage Strong verbal and written communication skills Goof understanding of data ware housing systems and DW pipeline Experience with waterfall and agile methodology is a plus Insurance domain knowledge is desirable Ability to read and/or design logical and multi-dimensional data models Experience with relational, multidimensional and OLAP techniques and technology
