As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operational and maintenance
expertise on industrial wastewater treatment systems for one of our customers from a variety of
industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including media
filtration, industrial wastewater treatment and ultrafiltration (UF).Key Characteristics Conduct critical and preventative maintenance and calibration activitiesConsult with customer management and operation teamsExcellent mechanical know-how and problem-solving skillsEnsure contract compliance of volume and quality specificationsOperate, monitor, and optimize equipment performanceDuties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting and repairs on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentationCreate and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performedMaintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement partsMonitor and maintain chemical injection systems.Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, pH, NH3, DO, COD and jar testing in addition to various other site-specific testing requirementsReview customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with field services teamsBasic understanding of mechanical components and the ability to repair or assist in the repair of equipment on site (blowers, pumps, motors, level transmitters, flow meters, valves and gearboxes)Ability to perform laboratory testing and apply results to operational conditions to optimize and improve facility performanceAbility to enter data into various databasesProvide customers and coworkers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their systemThe job description is not designed to capture all the employee’s responsibilities but is intended to capture essential functions of the role.
