Geotechnical Project Manager

UES is looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager to join our Dallas team. This position entails the delivery of comprehensive geotechnical services through the coordination and execution of field explorations and laboratory testing, the analysis/evaluation of those findings, the preparation of geotechnical reports, and communication with UES clients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform geotechnical analysis and study to assess construction site condition.

Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration effectively.

Perform field and environmental investigations for construction projects.

Assist project professionals with project execution, proposal and report preparation.

Execute smaller projects to gain experience in project management.

Coordinate required testing/sampling with drill crews and assist with field activities as necessary

Interpret field data and assign laboratory testing

Communicate results of field and laboratory testing, and geotechnical recommendations, to clients

Prepare geotechnical reports

Assist with field activities during construction

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum two years as a project manager (required).

Certification of Engineer in Training (required).

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) ABET or an accredited four-year college or university in civil engineering or geology. Master’s level degree or exposure to core civil engineering disciplines through coursework (M.S. or Ph.D.) in geotechnical engineering preferred.

Familiarity with modern office tools including the use of computer-based programs such as gINT, DARWin, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel, etc

Possession of a valid Texas driver license and a acceptable driving record
