Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Global Process Leader based in Dallas, Texas. This role is within the service industry and involves leading the accounting team and managing multiple accounting areas including accounts payable and fixed asset management. The Global Process Leader will also be responsible for setting accounting policies and procedures on a global scale, driving process improvements, and overseeing outsourced shared services.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Develop global accounting policies and procedures to enhance process efficiency and regulatory compliance. Manage fixed asset accounting processes, which include overseeing asset capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. Oversee compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations related to fixed assets. Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements within the accounting function. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. Manage relationships with outsourced shared services providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements. Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary. Drive standardization and automation of accounting processes to support scalability and efficiency. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Requirements Proficiency in using SAP S/4HANA Extensive knowledge of International Accounting standards Demonstrated expertise in Fixed Asset Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Fixed Asset Depreciation Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) management Familiarity with Disposals and their accounting implications Strong skills in Business process improvement and Process Improvement Ability to develop and implement Best Practices in the service industry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Experience in creating and updating Policies And Procedures Excellent leadership skills with a global perspective Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
