IT Manager

Description We are in search of a proficient IT Manager to join our team in the service industry, based in Dallas, Texas. The role primarily involves strategic leadership, supplier relationship management, procurement strategy execution, budget and financial management, risk management, team development, and innovation and improvement. Responsibilities: Formulating and implementing a comprehensive supplier management strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Building and maintaining robust relationships with key suppliers, ensuring their alignment with the company's needs and expectations. Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Overseeing the development and execution of procurement strategies for various categories of goods and services. Developing and managing the supplier management budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the supply chain, including supply disruptions and compliance issues. Recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent within the supplier management team. Driving innovation in procurement processes and supplier management practices to enhance efficiency. Implementing best practices and new technologies to stay ahead of industry trends. Monitoring supplier performance, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with strategic goals. Requirements Proven experience in a similar IT Manager role within the service industry. Expertise in global procurement processes and strategies. Demonstrated skills in direct sourcing of IT solutions and services. Extensive experience in contract negotiation for IT services and solutions. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and operations. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant IT certifications would be advantageous. Ability to develop IT strategies and implement technology solutions to improve business efficiency. Strong project management skills.
