Responsibilities:
Increase sales through efficient management of promotional spending within Client guidelines.
Ensure all base authorization, new distribution, retail pricing, shelving, and promotional guidelines are met within the assigned markets or Customers.
Demonstrate sales accomplishments and areas of opportunity by coordinating in sales presentations for key Customers and Clients.
Sell business-building ideas to Customers through the use of syndicated data, (i.e. Nielsen, IRI data, Spectra, and forms of demographic data).
Develop comprehensive strategies and solutions for key client accounts.
Achieve incremental growth by pursuing volume-producing merchandising at assigned Customer accounts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent experiencerequired
5+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, HQ Account Management within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
Experience in the strategic planning of marketing campaigns
Ideal candidates for this role have prior experience as a successful Business Development Manager, HQ Account Manager, and/or Director, Retail Operations
Highly analytical with a keen understanding of Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and client relations skills

Assist Business Development Managers in achieving the Company income by ensuring all Client’s brand marketing and Customer strategies are implemented.
Increase sales through efficient management of promotional spending within Client guidelines.
Client Quota Achievement
Meet or exceed Clients’ goals for sales, distribution, pricing, shelving, and promotional volume by working with all related departments for assigned markets or Customers.
Client KPI’s Achievement
Meet or exceed Client’s sales objectives across area of responsibility.
Ensure all base authorization, new distribution, retail pricing, shelving, and promotional guidelines are met within the assigned markets or Customers by regularly reporting discrepancies to appropriate Business Development Managers.
Attain sales and promotional objectives within Clients’ “zero overspend” guidelines.
Business/Category Reviews
Demonstrate sales accomplishments and areas of opportunity by coordinating in sales presentations for key Customers and Clients.
Sell business-building ideas to Customers through the use of syndicated data, (i.e. Nielsen, IRI data, Spectra, and forms of demographic data).

Minimum QualificationsEducation Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of work experience in applicable field (sales, marketing agency, Customer or Client)
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Proven track record in sales helpful and as well as other applicable fields.
Working knowledge of syndicated data helpful.
Sales presentation and platform skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
PC skills required/intermediate level of proficiency with Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated track record of success.
