Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manager, Cloud Engineering in Dallas, TX.Summary:The Manager, Cloud Engineering will be accountable for the operation of the company's systems. These include both cloud and data center systems. This includes ownership of availability, response time, and other operational metrics as well as patching, upgrading, and maintaining the operational environment, associated infrastructure, and technology stack from the cloud/datacenter facility up through the operating system. The Manager, Cloud Engineering will oversee all technology operations (e.g., datacenter operations, cloud, and service vendor management) and evaluate them according to established goals.
10 years of related IT experience
3 years of IT management experience
Strong experience with DevOps technologies, including Source Code Control, Build/Deployment Management, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
Excellent knowledge of the operating system(s) and automation tools
Knowledge of how IT operations are managed
Knowledge of Cloud technology's, AWS, AZURE, and the services they provide
Verbal and written communication skills

Relationship building both within the organization and with external sources

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
