Description A client of ours in the Medical industry is looking to hire a front desk receptionist! In this role you will be responsible for checking in/out patients at the front desk. Greeting incoming visitors, scheduling patients for future appointments, routing incoming calls to the correct person/department etc.Responsibilities
Checking in and checking out patients
Answering phones
Scheduling appointments for audiology and speech pathology
Registering patients in the system
Verifying insurance information
Contacting patients to confirm appointments
Entering referrals into the system
Creating charts and files for future appointments
Taking payments, co-pay, deductibles, and due balances
Sending out referrals that come to us - making sure they have the referral in place and calling the patients to schedule the appointments
Requirements
Requirements
2+ years of medical reception experience
Knowledgeable in medical terminology
Proficient in Microsoft Office
