first off - we get so many great people through Craigslist, but way too many people never read the description and apply to every job - we want people with an eye for detail - so in your response tell us a little about you and why you would be a great fit but BE SURE TO MENTION YOUR FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR - if you dont mention one of those 12 words dont expect a response - bonus points if you give us a phone number to text you to set up an interview since the email system on Craigslist sometimes does not work great
Now back to your regularly scheduled job listing.
We come across an incredible amount of high quality older items. We also come across lots of items that at first glance might be valuable but ultimately are not.
We need help sorting the gems from the duds.
Role will involve working in our air conditioned warehouse in Southlake. Sifting through the assortment of items we have acquired and continue to acquire and determining which items have value and which should be recycled, donated or trashed.
Once identified, we will need your assistance in pricing and selling these items on Ebay, Whatnot, Facebook etc.
Expertise we are looking for (not expecting anyone to have all of this)
Coins
Stamps
Speciality Glass
Antiques
Housewares
Tools
Electronics
Ephemera (we sift through immense amounts of paperwork which leads to a large percentage of our revenue)
Militaria
Vintage Clothing
Knives
Old Toys
What is your expertise?
Pretty much if you are a picker with a broad base of knowledge and looking for a steady income source to support your "habit" we might be a great fit.
Must have reliable transportation - we are less than 2 minutes off the highway in Southlake near the North End of DFW airport.
Must have some level of product expertise - you will likely see and touch many different types of items - so broad knowledge on many things with some areas of deep knowledge.
Some knowledge of Ebay and selling online would be helpful but not required.
Roll can be full or part time - but is 100% onsite - we wont respond if you ask about remote work.
