Manage and reconcile the University-wide work-study program budgets.

Monitor balances in Federal Work-Study (on and off-campus).

Verify student eligibility and certify all work-study awards.

Ensure that the program is in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.

Develop and implement work-study policies and procedures.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper workflow of the hiring process.

Oversight and management of the off-campus work study student time sheets and payroll.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in financial aid or the field of employment or personnel which afforded a basic knowledge of financial aid programs.

Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and familiarity with UT Dallas policies and procedures are preferred.

Must be able to perform problem analysis and partner with the Office of Financial Aid for awarding of funds and adjustment of aid.

Ability to interpret federal, state, and institutional rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and to exercise good professional judgment as needed to ensure that appropriate aid resources are directed to all work-study eligible applicants.

Must possess good communication skills, be attentive to details, and demonstrate competent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Handshake, and PeopleSoft.

Ability to demonstrate customer service excellence.
