Registered Nurse (RN)—Radiology—PRN IOur Radiology Department is in seek of a RN on a PRN basis. Are you experienced in Radiology and would like to pick up some additional hours, than this is the place for you.WORK LOCATION : Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231​​​​​​​ WORK HOURS : PRN I. This position will require a minimum of one shift every 6 weeks.DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS :· Level I Trauma Center· Comprehensive Heart Attack and Stroke Center· 8 years in a row, Texas Health Resources has Placed #1 on Fortune’s list of Best Workplaces in Healthcare· Cover ED, Inpatient, Outpatient, and SurgeryQUALIFICATIONS:· Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree required· BSN preferred.· Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required· One-year experience as a registered nurse· Radiology experience preferred· Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly RequiredWhat You Will Do· Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfersEntity HighlightsFor more than a half-century, Texas Health Dallas has been at the forefront of health care in North Texas.
