Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Real Estate & Property industry located in Dallas, Texas. The role involves managing and reconciling accounts, maintaining general ledgers, and using various software to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Hybrid work schedule in downtown Dallas, TX. 4-6 month contract position.Senior Accountant (contract):Responsibilities: Manage and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial stability Carry out bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date Prepare journal entries and review entries for accuracy Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Oversee the month-end close process and ensure timely completion Use Yardi Software and Yardi Voyager for property accounting tasks Assist in property accounting tasks to maintain financial recordsRequirements Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Real Estate & Property industry Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations Solid understanding and experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience in managing Month End Close Familiarity with Yardi Software and Yardi Voyager Strong expertise in Property Accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
