This position is responsible for ensuring data availability, security, and performance across the organization’s storage infrastructure. The position will have extensive experience with storage solutions, data replication, disaster recovery, and a deep understanding of enterprise IT environments. This position requires the ability to independently identify and fulfill responsibilities with minimal oversight, especially on critical matters. The role frequently involves exercising discretion and independent judgment, evaluating different options, and making informed decisions. The position is expected to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.QualificationsRequired qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in enterprise storage management, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role.

Deep understanding of SAN, NAS, DAS, and object storage systems (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, Hitachi, IBM, Pure Storage).

Proficiency in storage protocols, including Fiber Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB.

Experience with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, CommVault, Rubrik).

Familiarity with cloud storage platforms such as AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage.

Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies and tools, including replication and snapshot technology.

Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for task automation and orchestration.

Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to workload management.

Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.

Open to travelling up to 50% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

Industry certifications (e.g., NetApp NCIE, Dell EMC Proven Professional, VMware VCP-DCV, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $81,244.80 to $144,476.80 on an annualized basis.
