Assists in the provision of supplemental nursing staff to in-patient and other areas.
Works with departments within the hospital to ensure appropriate and timely patient placement.
Assists staff in obtaining needed supplies and equipment.
Utilizes chain of command to address departmental or facility issues.
Responds to emergencies on the campus. Implements emergency plans for the facility.
Interacts with patients, families, staff and physicians to ensure prompt resolution of concerns.
Supports hospital mission, vision and goals. Places personal emphasis on customer service.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Do In This Role
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Bachelors Degree required
Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license, required
Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required
ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required within 12 months of hire
2 years experience general clinical staff
2 years experience as a manager or unit supervisor required
Experience working in specialty areas such as ICU, ED, etc. required
