You’ll oversee strategizing and executing emotive advertising campaigns that shape American’s narrative across various channels, optimizing the work based on cultural trends, consumer-driven research, and industry best practices. You’ll develop compelling creative that supports increased travel bookings and acquisition/engagement for the AAdvantage loyalty program and cobrand. As the steward of American’s visual identity, you’ll help shape guidelines for branded activations and new brand experiences both internally and externally, ensuring a consistent look across all touchpoints. This leader balances emotional storytelling, a keen creative eye and attention to detail, plus passion for human-centric data. Supports the day-to-day relationship with our agency partners and business stakeholders Manages the agencies in conducting research and developing key target insights to inform the creative brief and final creative Develops creative assets to drive flight bookings, loyalty and cobrand acquisition Collaborates intently with Marketing, Paid Media, Loyalty, Cobrand, and Customer Experience teams to ensure successful creative development according to business messaging strategy and within our brand strategy. Manages agency partners to identify continuous process improvement opportunities and maintain contract and cost management Objectively and critically reviews creative to ensure adherence to American brand standards and creative channel best practices during conception and implementation. Works with internal stakeholders to ensure creative deliverables are executed according to planAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, design or equivalent experience/training 5+ years experience in an advertising creative agency or internal creative team, loyalty division, B2C marketing role with a focus on creative developmentPreferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience 1-2 years of leading a team or being responsible for team performance Knowledge of paid media channels and KPIs Ability to manage third-party partners and gain project alignment Ability to foster collaboration between teams of marketing managers, strategists, and agencies Experience leading a creative agency planning for yearly business objectives Assists in creating and managing budgets Provides strategic recommendations on ways to deliver value with a creative agencySkills, Licenses, and Certifications Familiar with guiding creative development from concept through production across multiple channels: digital, social, TV, OOH, print, radio, etc Proven experience in brand management, creative campaign execution, and agency management.
