The team has assisted hundreds of companies across all industries to improve and/or operate their solutions to improve overall management of their suppliers, inclusive of direct and indirect sourcing interactions related to risk and performance management, through broader supplier oversight and governance.The Oil and Gas ACMS team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Manager to join our new and growing team. Applicants should have an interest in understanding the longer term opportunities for enabling the growth of all the underlying solutions. This role will require developing and executing on strategies that drive business growth, market expansion, and competitive advantages. This manager will be responsible for supporting the relationships internal and external to the ACMS organization and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a combination of analytical skills, strategic thinking, leadership abilities, and the capacity to adapt to changing internal dynamics and market trends.Key responsibilitiesThese roles and responsibilities can evolve and adapt based on the organization's growth and trajectory, industry shifts, and strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include developing and executing on the organization's strategic vision, collaborating with key stakeholders to align on areas of growth and expansion, and monitoring key performance and risk indicators to drive healthy growth, draw insights, and adjust strategies. This role is less day-to-day delivery and more so engagement management to ensure success.Key areas of focus for this role will include:

Strategic planning : Collaborate with senior leadership to define the organizational objectives and growth goals; subsequently develop strategic plans/roadmaps that outline actionable steps and identify/monitor key performance indicators to achieve overall business objectives.

Project management and Delivery: Oversee the delivery of managed services client engagements as the engagement manager; ensure successful outcomes according to client objectives and key results. Develop and foster relationships with key client leadership and drive strategic alignment to client's long term vision, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams; track progress and dependencies to identify and resolve any bottlenecks or challenges that arise.

Business development : Assist with potential account partnerships (i.e., strategic client discussions with significant visibility) and expansion opportunities that align with the organization's growth objectives; assist with internal and external research to develop thought leadership and convey the value proposition. Also, support the internal and external relationships to facilitate that cross-functional collaboration across these opportunities.

Communication: Activate the necessary communication channels to effectively distribute updates across the organization, foster a sense of belonging and inclusion for onshore and offshore teams, support knowledge sharing, and contribute to organizational transparency especially during periods of heavy change.

Leadership: Mentor team members, driving talent development and facilitating key client meetings

Additional responsibilities include:

Activating internal and external marketing channels for socialization of the expanding solution catalogue and demonstrating adeptness at content creation with effective messaging and visual appeal.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor

Working closely with various departments such as account leadership, business development, finance, and operations to align growth strategies and ensure cohesive execution

Fostering a culture of innovation by encouraging new ideas and creative approaches to business growth

Track business decisions and impact to organization, P&L, and/or operations

Support organization's efforts to align across the Americas and Global programs and leadership

Skills and attributes for success

Possess an understanding of the Oil & Gas Industry, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Experience with Oil & Gas-specific industry business processes and commonly used enterprise software in areas such as production revenue accounting, joint venture accounting, land administration, and production control

Manage concurrent activities and prioritize work of complex strategic programs with tight deliverables and a strong attention to detail

Create effective state-of-the-business or point-of-view presentation materials for executive updates, client discussions, and strategic pursuits

Aptitude to analyze data and identify trends/observations to drive data-driven decision-making

Leverage his/her background in communications and organizational problem-solving to solve for executive level challenges

Communicate issues and risks to project teams and stakeholders to provide visibility, facilitate resolution and escalate when necessary.

To qualify for the role, you must haveA minimum of 8 years' experience working in a consulting or managed services role within Oil and Gas industry, a professional services firm, and/or accounting firm.And at least one of the following:

O&G Applications – IT application for managed services including SAP S4 implementation

Data and Analytics – data management as a service

Land Services/administration

Availability to travel as required by clients.

A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance or a related discipline.

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $146,000 to $333,500. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $175,200 to $379,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
