Our company has been in existence for over fifteen years, and have warehouses in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Weslaco.
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate who will work in Distribution Center in the Dallas area primarily in our "CTO" department conducting inspections of digital cameras and lenses.
We will provide all training.
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
Triage (inspect) returned cameras / lenses to A) confirm customer complaint(s), B) Confirm any / all defects, and C) classify each part to determine if part is resalable.
Inbound product to various locations based on classifications.
Enter data into Customer portal.
Communicate with Customers via email.
Create specific daily Excel spreadsheets to Customers
Requirements for Candidate:
Must be able to legally work in the United States.
Speak English. Bilingual is a plus.
Have your own reliable transportation. Mass transit not included.
Ability to type at least 30 wpm. 10-Key a plus.
Be detailed oriented.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Have some working knowledge with Outlook, Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Candidate will be paid as an Independent Contractor for the first 90 days @ a rate of $16.00 / hour. After the first 90 days, and if the Candidate has exceeded expectations, Candidate will have the option of converting to a permanent employee status, or the Candidate can continue as an Independent Contractor. Rates of pay will be increased to $17.00 / hour.
If the Candidate elects to transition to a permanent employee status, medical benefits and PTO will be offered after the Candidate completes the 90-Day Probationary period after converting to an employee status.
The shift will be Monday - Friday, from 08:30 - 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break.
